Hello.

I have huge problems with Abyss web server beacuse I can't remotely connect to my site. It only works when I type http://127.0.0.1:800 or http://192.168.1.12:800 (I'm using port 800 in Abyss web server).

I have ADSL router Kasda KD318MUI. I tried port forwarding. Here is screenshot (advanced setup, NAT, virtual servers):

Here is my ipconfig/all details:

Abyss web server is correctly set on port 800:

Finally, here is some test result for port 800 (https://www.grc.com/x/portprobe=800)

Please, help me. I'm insane beacuse I don't know what is wrong!

Check your external IP on www.abyssunderground.co.uk/ip and use that to access your site. If that fails, get someone else to try since the router might not support loopback, meaning you can't view it on your LAN side of the router.

You can post your IP here for me to test if you wish.

Yes, I used my external IP adress with :800 at the end (for example: http://my.ip.adress:800 ) and nothing happened... Then I asked my friends to test that URL ,but result was the same.

I don't know what is wrong?

It could be that your ISP is blocking all incoming connections in a bid to stop people using servers. You should quiz them about it and see what they say. Nearly all ISP's will deny any sort of blocking however.

Try disabling your firewall.

I solved that problem. I opened ports 1 - 65000 in my router and set Abyss back to port 80. When people from inside type my internet IP adress they can see my site, but I get router configuration panel instead. If I want to see my site, I must use local IP adress.

Disable remote administration in the router to get around this problem, or change its port. You don't need it unless you intend to edit the routers settings from outside your local network.

Bad idea...Do what AbyssUnderground said, then remove all ports but 80, and try it again.
