Page Cannot be displayed

Hi, im new here...

Ok, so this is whats going on. im trying to make a sort of general interest site for myself and a few friends, and so far have succeeded. I have installed and setup the abyss server, gotten everything all cozy with a test site and all that jazz.. the site tests out fine on my system, but it doesnt seem to want to work for the general public.

I have tried changing the ports, as recommended. i have tried
port 85, port 8080, port 8000

when i try to change the port i cannot even access the site internally anymore...

I have added the port number to the end of the ip string as recomended, but to no avail.

my ip is...

http://142.177.38.63

I am running windows xp pro

anyone have any ideas?

This one works http://142.177.38.63 so go to no-ip.com and map it as a name domain like offspring.zapto.org/ or something but the ip i showed you , i can access :D

im thinking i know whats going on... while im working on the server people can view it. and when i try it at work and what not it doesnt work...

it goes into standby when i leave it be for awhile.. thats why i cant access it.
