How do I get my Abyss X2 web server to display my webpage? Here is what I have so fat.
1) At the console my host displays the following:
http://XXXXXX.biz:82
this means the site name and the port the domain or host is running on.
I switched web pages a day ago. Here is the new directory it is suppose to be looking for the page on.
I go to the general page for this host and check the host name and it is correct. Then I go to documents path and it point towars c:\nmsite\ this is where the html or htm index is located. When I go to my browser it does not display the new page and simply goes to the default Abyss page that is the orginal site. Any help is appreciated in advance. Reply soon. |

Check that the host is correct and also make sure you add :82, the port, to the end of the URL. If another host on your server is running on 80 it will point to there. If you have another server on 80 why not run this site on 80 as well if it works? Nothing stopping you doing that. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Would that have anything to do with your browser's cache?
Try refreshing the page and see if that helps.
You might also see if you're getting the page for the default host. I think that is what Andy was getting at. What is the document root for the default host? Is it the Abyss directory? _________________ Stephen
