|
|
Hello,
I am currently running Windows 2000 (Server Edition). Being the server edtion I have Internet Information Services (IIS) on my system. When I look inside of IIS's Application Configuration Settings I find that it uses ISAPI to allow for Server-Side Includes (SSI) and Active Server Pages (ASP). This is the information that I can currently see, and I was wondering if there was a way to get Abyss to utilize these files that are already on my system.
Code: |
Extension | ISAPI Executable Path
.asp | C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\asp.dll
.cer | C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\asp.dll
.cdx | C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\asp.dll
.asa | C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\asp.dll
.htr | C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\ism.dll
.idc | C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\httpodbc.dll
.shtm | C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\ssinc.dll
.shtml | C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\ssinc.dll
.stm | C:\WINNT\System32\inetsrv\ssinc.dll
.printer | C:\WINNT\System32\msw3prt.dll
|
I am running IIS only because of it's XML support and ASP 3.0 support. If I could use the same ASP processing engine, then I would be able to switch over to Abyss completely. (Yes, I did infact look into the Active HTML option, and I found it not to meet my needs. For ahtml fans, I am not interested in using ahtml in the near future. But if it can improve beyond where MS ASP has left off then I may in the future look into it again)
Thanks in advance,

Current versions of Abyss Web Server do not support ISAPI DLLs. We are working on such a feature to be avialable in the future. _________________ Support Team
