				| Dear Aprelium Technologies,
I have password protected a directory & I have re-directed error code 401 to my own 401 page. When users click the member’s area to enter there username & password it goes right to the 401 error page & totally skips asking for the username and password.
Do you have any ideas what may be wrong?

 Many Thank's,

Our guess is that you associated error 401 with a full URL looking like
http://yoursite/path/errorpage.html . Using such a full URL prevents the
authentication from working correctly. You should rather associate error 401
with a URL relative to your web site such that /path/errorpage.html only.
