Can anyone help me set up my second hard drive so i can use it as a server with Abyss. Then i would be able to host my own website of it.
I tried using the search but it says it down for maintainence.

TomBullock,
If you want to have your web site files on the second hard drive, simply create a directory on that drive (for example call it website) and then open the console, select Hosts - Configure, select General, and press Browse in front of Document Paths and locate the directory you've just created on the second HD.
Validate and restart. From now on, Abyss Web Server will look for files in that directory. You can also create an alias which maps a subdirectory of your web site to a directory on that new HD. _________________ Support Team

By default it is 80 otherwise you must put :port at the end of a URL. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Perhaps it is a good suggestion to use the proxy of your ISP.
Some network-routers don't give the possibility to connected computers to access services on (other) local IP-addresses, thus presenting the Router Configuration panel. |
