I would like to know if there are any issues running these servers on the same box. Of course the ports will be be different for both. I need to do this to port current web apps to Abyss. This is a needed setup for now and once I got the current apps ported I can start installing ASP.NET2.0 and kill Apache. I am running ASP.NET 1.1 with Apache but has problems with 2.0+
Any comments? |

Should be fine as long as the ports are different. _________________ -Blake | New Server :D

Agreed. They run differently so they should not affect eachother unless they are on the same port. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

OK, guys thanks. The server is running beautifully. I am moving web apps one at a time. Starting with simple html-based apps followed by the PHPs, Perl cgi and other activeforms. Will advise the forum if I encounter any problem. |
