| I joined back in March but forgot about this forum. I wonder if anyone can help me. I've got a site on my laptop and would like to put it online. I don't know how. I've got a Netgear DG834 wireless router, if that helps. Thanks in advance. |

| I did type in search and try the recommended page, but that didn't work. Nor did the method you listed. I am having to use apache which I regret as it's hard to use and there is no configuration page. I think my router is at fault. Don't worry about this thread anymore. Thanks. |

Apache would have the same difficulties as Abyss if it was your router to fault.

Does Abyss Web Server work when accessed locally using http://127.0.0.1 ? If the answer is yes then your problem is related to your network settings (which are preventing the connection to reach our software).
Otherwise, if Abyss Web Server is actually having problems it should report an error message when starting or in its console. Is there such a message?
