I have two computers on my wireless network. I want to access the web server on my main computer from my laptop with a ftp program so I can upload pictures. I have my linksys router all setup & working as far as port fowarding goes 21 & 80.
I can bring up a web page from any where in my network or outside.....a friends house. But I can't connect using a ftp program. I have windows vista & McAFEE could my problem be there? I tried my 192.168.1.101
& my external address 63.XXX.XXX.XX.
I use the server to host my ebay pix, so I can't use the share on home networking because it would up load this \\antiques\images\pictures I need to have the ip address in there when I up load. The ftp program appends the ip address.
Thanx, Tom
Thanks everyone got it going!

Have you installed an FTP server? Abyss does http only. You need another program to be able to FTP in.
You could try FileZilla: https://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla _________________ Olly |
