Make sure your scripts don't have bugs in them. He can only hack through badly written scripts. Until you have them fixed, don't make those scripts available on your site. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Most defaced are mostly made by newly discovered exploits in main-stream scripts. If you wrote your own code, make sure to log every access attempt, and check what URL the attacker requested when your page got defaced. I wrote a post here about the regular security problems people make when writing PHP. |

If the program is not secure, then there is nothing you can do. Linux just has lockdown tweaks which shouldn't really be necessary anyway. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)
