Problem with imagevue 1.7 ( php ? )

I just installed Imagevue 1.7 using Abyss web server and everything seems to be working fine menus and all but when i try to actualy open a pictures it seems to crash somehow ... well in fact the picture just wont display ... was working fine with 1.6 ... the rights are ok on the folders ... would it be something related to php or the gd2 library ?

any idea ??

Try enabling the maximul logging and error reporting level in php.ini and restart the server. Access your script and let us know if it reports errors.
