hello,
i upgraded the phpmyadmin to the latest software.Everything went smooth but i did notice in the config.inc.php file is different from the old one.as far as the setup should i use the old config file or use the newer one?

| i noticed the same thing. it took me some time to figure out but what i ended up doin is going to /phpmyadmin/scripts/setup.php in ie and i had 2 add the server. After i added the server, i downloaded the file in config, one of the lower options, directly to my phpmyadmin folder. Then your phpmyadmin should work! |

it's working and all but i was comparing the config.inc.php file and i notice that some of the script is diffrent from the other i was just curious to if i can using the old config file or stick with the new one?. |

| that i do not know. i am new at this as well. if the new one is working, i would just stick to the new one.... you can try the old one though. Anyways good luck ! i had a problem when i was installing mysql and phpmyadmin 2.9.1.1 . it is in a different post though. it is in database issues with mysql 5.0.22 or .27 i think and phpmyadmin 2.9.1.1 so... take a look if you want it mite and mite not help.. |
