When I'm trying to test my ASP's pages iv'e got this annoying problem:

ServerObjectCreateObject: - Error 'ASP 0134 : 80004005'

Invalid ProgID attribute

D:\backup\Inetpub\wwwroot\final\left.asp, line 5

The object has an invalid ProgID of 'ADODB.Connection'


My site should work with odbc connection, what can I do to resolve this problem? (I already installd the .mdb file in Control Panel>Administrative tools>odbc).
P.S- I built this site 3 years ago so I kniow it should work fine.

Ofir K,

We recommend that you update MDAC on your system to fix the ADODB setup. MDAC is available from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6c050fe3-c795-4b7d-b037-185d0506396c&DisplayLang=en .

If this does not help, we suggest that you contact SeliSoft (the authors of ActiveHTML, the ASP interpreter) and request their help. They know ASP/ActiveHTML better than us.
