how can i use .htaccess and .htpasswd in abyss web server web pages i want to protect my site
if it is posible please tell me how or give me a link to instructions

no htaccess is apache only.
To set up password protection using abyss: Using the abyss console. Goto console --> server configuration --> advanced, and set up a new user in users and groups. Then go to access control, enter the path to the protected folder (relative to htdocs, so abyss/htdocs/protected would need the path /protected) and tick the boxes for the users you want to allow access to.
