You can run MULTIPLE servers on your computer. On MULTIPLE ports. For instance, if you wanted to use abyss as your HTTP server that would be fine, but in order for other people to access the sites that are being hosted on your computer you could use WS_FTP or something similar on the FTP port (FTP-Port 21 HTTP- Port 80) and set the active directories to the same as abyss' servers active folder. Then to keep your clients happy you can set up different usernames/passwords for them to access thier individual sites in their individual folders on your computer.
