|
|
i have a simple html form from which i want to invoke a
cgi handler in the form of a plain jane win32 console app.
<form name="searchform" method="get "action="ssindexsrv.exe">
<input type="text" size="70" maxlength="90" name="input" value="" class="search-color" />
<input type="submit" name="search" value="Go" class="search-color" />
</form>
i placed ssindexsrv.exe in /cgi-bin, but that doesn't seem to be enuff.
The CGI documentation section deals exclusively with running interpreted
cgi scripts.
However there is a post elsewhere
( CGI Issues - different types of cgi Sun Sep 29 2002 3:22 am)
that says that "Abyss Web Server runs any executable which is a Win32 console application", but does'nt detail how.
Any help in connecting this bone to that bone very much appreciated. |
