You must be really computer illiterate into thinking that your website is
Powered By Abyss , I can get a bunch of people to back me up on this.
Here's what his Server is Powered By
Code: |
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Sun, 29 May 2005 23:45:26 GMT
Server: Apa.../2.0.40 (Red Hat Linux)
Last-Modified: Sat, 28 May 2005 21:08:30 GMT
ETag: "c9e8080-312-e788f80"
Accept-Ranges: bytes
Content-Length: 786
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/html
X-Pad: avoid browser bug
|
Note: I don't mean to be rude or anything but I just hate it when people go
on the aprelium forum and posts their stupid 3rd party server in this forum.
Sincerely , TRUSTpunk

Actually you're wrong..
Portions of the site are powered by Abyss, all the downloads you find on the site comes from my computer, which runs abyss. The chapters section of my site loads from my computer.
I had to host a portion of the site on another server because I host a PodCast, and I need all the bandwidth I can get.
So ask questions before calling someone stupid "in not so many words".
And to call me a kid because I had to change the structure of my website is just very immature.
Being that you're wrong.. then according to some of your logic im not the computer illiterate one here... which says what about you? |

You know what , you could at least post a note that only some parts of the
website is being hosted on Abyss instead of saying that the whole site is a
Powered By Abyss website , next time tell us more info. Thank You!

When I made this post the entire site was powered by Abyss, I decided soon thereafter to make those changes. |

Says we're right, that the domain is pointing to an apache server.
Personally, id think you should host the downloads on the apache server if anything, if trying to save bandwidth.
You didnt say 'Some of my site', so said 'My site' which covers the whole thing.
Owned.Kkthxbi. _________________

Hey, slick.
I'm not very familiar with podcasting and don't know exactly how much bandwidth you need.
But, maybe you could add a little more to the Abyss server, at least your index page.
Overall, I like what you did. Even though it's not all Abyss-hosted. ;)
