|

Hi ALL
First off, let me say I love this SW. I've been playing
with it for a couple of weeks now.
The support for it is awesome also. Thanks to many posters
in here I got my server with ASp support up and running quickly.
I do Have a question though. Has anyone played with fso_upload,
which is located here: http://www.datacertain.com/upload_files/fso_upload/
I've been trying to get it to work on my server and have had no luck.
I've gone through the help files and changed the paths that needed to
be changed. I don't think it's a write/access problem.
I was testing one of the free programs that comes with AHTML and all those work ok.
When I click on the upload button when testing fso_uplaod,
it just goes back to the main upload page (fso_upload.asp).
I got so irritated with it, I said F* it and deleted it.
I'm not sure what other info you need, but I was trying to get it to
work on a machine running 2k server with Abyss and AHTML installed
and configured. Set up the alias's in both Abyss and AHTML.
Edited the FSO_UPLOAD.INC to change the path and file size.
So which brings me to my orig question: has anyone tried it yet and
gotten it to work??
Lastly, if you curious and if my machine is running, it can always
be accessed through my regular website which is hosted through DirectNic.

I just finished testing your upload script all works ok but their is just one problem , if you rename your folders with the upload script in it , you will have to change a few lines , the reason why you always came to same page is because you didn't specify the path to fs_upload.mdb , you should open up "success.asp" and on the second line down , you need to put the path to your .mdb file
Source=C:\Program Files\ActiveHTML\AHTML\imgupload\database\fso_upload.mdb"
After you do that you need to open fs_upload.inc and find the line
UploadDirectory = Server.Mappath("/ahtml/imgupload/")
and type your local path to the upload directory of fs_upload , you can create a new folder for the upload directory within your fs_upload script directoy
I HOPE THIS MAY BE OF HELP , IF THIS DOES NOT WORK , PLEASE CONTACT THE CREATORS OF THE SCRIPT OR APRELIUM AND THEY WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP YOU :roll: _________________ This web server is the best ! |

ah man, Now that you mention it, I think that is the only thing I didn't change (success.asp). :oops:
I will have to try that when I get home tonight.
Thanks for trying that for me, at least I know it works and I just over-looked something. I'm a newbie, what can I say!!
Thanks again |

I did get the script to work over the weekend.
I re-installed the script and changed the paths that needed to be changed.
I also had to change a few others paths in image_table.asp and image_table.inc, think it was called.
Anyway thanks for your help, much appreciated. |
