I setup a VPN Server on my XP server. I can connect to it with my computer successfully, but I can't do any normal internet stuff. Web browsing won't work, chat programs can't connect, etc. My friend has this problem too.
Edit: Split tunneling was what I needed.

I do have a question though, is there any security issues with split tunneling? Could a person somehow get access through my computer? It think some article said something like that.
Edit2: The VPN thing is running but I can't connect. I don't think it has any interfaces to listen on (in the list). _________________ -Blake | New Server :D

Have you thought of using hamachi before? This is a virtual VPN program and is very very good and so simple to use. Its slightly different from a real VPN in that you get a different IP for each PC but it works similarly.
www.hamachi.cc - I use it at home and work. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

My problem with Hamachi is that I'm limited to their slow free servers. I want a direct VPN between my server and I. _________________ -Blake | New Server :D

It never goes through their servers unless it specifically says its routed through it because a direct connection is not available, so there isn't that limitation. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Really? I'll test the speed and if its around my upload then I'll stick with Hamachi. _________________ -Blake | New Server :D

Yes really :-) The only time it goes through their servers is if a direct connection cannot be made. It will be indicated with a blue arrow if this is the case with a maximum speed of 8KB/s (unless you buy premium). _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)
