I thing it will be best to start at the begining. My desktop computer is left on most of the time so is ideal to host my own website from. Will be quite a simlple site. I bought a domain name (www.russellellwood.co.uk) set up a (http://www.metadns.cx) to allow my web address to be linked to my ip address and a little program to update my ip on the dns. I also have Abyss running on my computer. I am running a BT Home hub, Abyss is set to port 8080, and router is forwards port 8080. When i go to my web address or ip address (217.42.162.251) I get my route settings page.
Any help would be great,
Cheers in advance.

You need to add :8080 to your IP or domain in the URL since you are not using port 80 (which browsers attempt to use when you don't specify a port).
Edit: http://217.42.162.251:8080
Note: If your router does not support loopback you may not be able to use your WAN address from inside your LAN. _________________ -Blake | New Server :D
