Just wondering when the new preconfigured package will be available. So many new bug fixes and optimizations are in the newest version. Thanks for any info. |

The preconfigured PHP 5.2.5 for Windows should be ready by the next week. We'll announce it for tests in the forum. _________________ Support Team

It is still under tests. Sorry for the delay but we don't want to release a package that will result in many compatibility problems with popular scripts. _________________ Support Team

We apologize for not having made available 5.2.5 as promised in our earlier posts.
We have discovered several changes in it which delayed its release (especially on Mac OS X). We're also working on a better system to generate these preconfigured packages in order to speed up their availability in the future. _________________ Support Team

Would love to see the windows version of this one even if it is in beta form as 5.2.4 was. Got a link? hehe. The 5.2.4 preconfigured package is working perfectly on MY system. Checking on this after another month. 5.2.X is gonna be out soon. Idea of new generation system is GREAT!. Seems they all keep updating and updating. MySQL. phpAdmin, Python AND Perl systems always changing.
Running Abyss Webserver X2 on Windows XP SP2 system.
Running MySQL 5, phpAdmin, Perl AND Python all latest editions.
Thx for an update on this.

i have successfully install version 5.2.5 without any glitches yet.And i'm on a windows xp pro.. I have it on fast cgi and under standard php i have been testing it on my vbulletin board for the last week and all is good.
mainly i compared the php.in with the prepackaged 5.2.2 and applied config to 5.2.5
just inform you guys that its compatibles just need some time to config it properly |
