Hi,
I have the aws server running fine, I had to put it on port 21 cause the port was already being forwarded by my router (so I was lazy) What I don't understand is that some people can access it but a few can't, they get an IE page cant be displayed error. Also I have 4 computers on my network 2 can access it and 2 can't using the outside ip address. So if anyone else has had this problem I would like to know why.
Thanks

make sure everyone is typng in the adrress like so:
http://www.your.websites.domaing.com:21
that will tell everones browser to connect to your site on port 21, im sure that some people are trying to connect on the defaulr port of 80 :) _________________ -=Gatewayy=-

Actually, thats not an issue, I have my web server linked from another page at www.geocities.com on the net so I can update my ip when it changes without having to inform everyone of the new ip. so it is not a typing issue. I'm thinking it has something to do with some browser setting. but thanks for the reply.

What is your web address, both geocities alias and real IP? I'll try accessing it or feel free to PM if you do not want your addresses disclosed... Good luck :) _________________ Victor B. Gonzalez
