Alrighty, I set my server up last night, and after ALOT of help from some friendly members (Thanks!) I got it runnin...
the suddenly, anyone else could get in, just not me. I can get into SOME of it threw a proxy, but other things just wont go. Any idea what could cause something like this?[/quote] _________________

When you say 'anyone else could get in' what do you mean? Get into the Abyss CP or your site? The better you tell us, the more quickly we can help you. |

The abyss cp works no problem, its the site itself, i think it might have something to do with no-ip.com, not sure however. _________________

I can if i use the IP, but every now and then when using that i run into something it wont work with. _________________

Such as what may i ask?
I use freedomain.co.nr as URL forwarding if that helps. |

Thats because your router does not allow you to do a loop in your network.
Your site works perfectly.
If you want to access it via your machine go to your browser and type 'localhost' or you can type your website in a proxy server and you should see it through there. |

Just a quick tip. If you want to access your site through the domain name, you can update your Windows hosts file. By adding:

This tells your computer that requests made to the domain are located at this ip address, it will not affect any remote users.
In Windows XP by default the hosts file is stored at: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts _________________ Olly |

Did you close and open the browser again, some browsers only read the hosts file once, when opened. _________________ Olly |
