Folder Quota Limit?

Is there any script or method to create folders that has a quota size limit they i can choose?

I think the NTFS file system can impose limits as such. I don't have expertise there, so your best bet would be to Google.

FTP can impose these limits as well depending on the server you get, but this would not stop, say, an upload script installed, from over-running the quota. You'd need an NTFS quota system set up for that.

Some upload scripts do check the size of directories and will prevent users from uploading files that would make a directory exceed a configured size. But this is not perfect as it only works when uploading from that script. If the user has access to the directory using another way (say another upload script or FTP), you cannot enforce the limits.

The best way is to use the quota feature available on some file systems such as NTFS (in Windows) and Ext2FS/Ext3FS (on Linux).
