URL ReWriting

Hi.

I have been using abyss for quite some time now, but I finally had our private section of the website encrypted with Stunnel (Tutorials need to be seriously updated :) )

Now that abyss has the URL rewriting capabilities, I am wondering how to use it.

What I am wanting to do is have any http://xxxxxxx/xxxxxxx rerouted to https://xxxxxxxxxx:port/xxxxxxxxxx , which will in turn force all connections over stunnel.

But I dont want to force it for other sections, just the specific folder that is password protected.

I want this to occur on the request as well because I dont want anyone to be able to send their passwords over unencrypted.

You will first need to check out http://www.aprelium.com/data/doc/2/abyssws-win-doc-html/hosts-configuration.html#HOSTS-URLREWRITE for a short tutorial.

You'll need to have two hosts -- one for the port 80 requests and another for the port 443 (default SSL port).
