I think that I followed all the instructions correctly when installing AHTML but when trying to run any ASP script it returns an internal server error (500). I am using IE 5. :( Any ideas? |

What OS are you using? I do not believe AHTML works on anything other than NT, 2000 and XP. Supposedly AHTML works on other OS'es but it is not supported by selisoft. Good luck :) _________________ Victor B. Gonzalez

Error 500 means that AHTML was unable to start correctly. This may be caused by missing DLLs or some critical error. Try executing AHTML.EXE from a DOS command box to see what error log you get from AHTML. _________________ Support Team

most of my ASP scripts work fine with this server. its just one script which keeps giving me an Error 500 (i've turned off friendly http errors in IE) yet i still get this error.
all thats in the page at the mo is Response.Write "hello world" much more complicated stuff is working, just this thing.
its being activated from a different frame, doing a form submit, (post) is this a known problem or am i just really unlucky.
oh yeah, i went into dos and run ahtml.exe from there, and i got error 404 (page not found) what does this mean in this context?
thanks in advance for any assistance given on this matter |

POST request are handled with no problem with Abyss Web Server. The problem seems to happen because ActiveHTML (remember, not only the server is involved in that case). Try checking its configuration and/or ask SeliSoft (the ActiveHTML publisher) for support. _________________ Support Team
