When running asp.net 2.0 apps under Vista with Abyss X1 (2.4) configured as a Windows Service, I receive an error on my default web page that NT Authority\System does not have write access to the .net framework 2.0 temp asp folder (not exactly worded that way but thats the Jist of it)
Works fine as automatic startup on user login.
What gives? I thought Abyss X1 2.4 was supposed to work on Vista!! :( |

| I got it to work!!! I changed the service's log on as "to interact with the desktop". Not sure why but it works now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Abyss 2.4 works with Vista but for some settings you must set the permissions of files to allow Abyss and the scripting languages it calls to write to them. That was even the case on XP/2003/2000/NT if you were not an administrator.
