so iam running a lil intranet site and i would like to make custom template for directory listing, however

iam unable to figure out if it is possible to allow user to select the order, like: by date, by name, ect...?

(i mean without using php or any other serverside stuff)

any ideas, examples ?

Unfortunately you will have to use php to get this feature. Abyss does not support it in the default listing. However this could be a good new feature in a newer version.

did a lil upgrade, still no server side languages used, check:

- js sortable filelist table
- css hidden overflows (fixed width table)

(javascript and parts of the css are copyrighted by their authors.)

install:
1. backup your abyss.conf
2. add abyss_dirlist_bak.txt at the proper place in your abyss.conf (or copy paste parts via console)
3. put main.css and sorttable.js into htdocs root
4. start hacking around until everything brea.., uhmm works.
