Hey aprelium...how big is the database for these forums? it must be pretty big, seeing as how there are thousands of posts and users. _________________

I wouldn't think so, since these are supposed to be a collection of help topics, so deleting some would get rid of some other topics that might just get asked again. _________________

hc2995,
We don't have (yet) storage problems. Our server's hard disk is only 10% full. ;-) _________________ Support Team

I would think about 80gb. Linux + MySQL + Abyss + PHP + DATA doesnt equal a whole lot. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

It's a 80 GB. :-) The system and all the sofware we use does not take a lot of space (in comparison with an equivalent Windows setup). _________________ Support Team

For windows I could do all that in about the same, possibly less. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

I was able to install DSL and run a web server (including the O/S) from my USB-stick. That should beat both Windows and whatever Aprelium is running on their server.
DSL takes about 50 MB. Here's a screenshot.

it could be done with a stick less than 1GB pretty easily. I can do that with my 512MB stick. DSL, like its name implies, is damn small. _________________

your usb mouse doesn't work? hmm...mine worked fine when I tried dsl. I think I remember reading though that for some mice you had to download some driver. I'll help you try and find it. _________________

QEYMU? how do i do that? I just plug the drive in, restart, press F12, enter my BIOS password, then do DSL xsetup and go from there. _________________ Where have i been?
