|
|
I have X2 with multiple domains running on server (network address 192.168.0.2). I want to be able to redirect hits on domain abc.com to my laptop at 192.168.0.3 - where I have another test server running. Other domains, such as xyz.com, should continue to run on the server at 192.168.0.2.
Is this possible? If so, how? |

You can do it but the other site would have to run on a different port. However if you simply want to use the files from the laptop and the laptop not to run the site, then you can set up a network share and manually type "\\laptopname\share\htdocsfolder" as the htdocs folder for that host. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

You would need to run Abyss Web Server on the laptop and use a port other than 80, eg, 81 and then forward that port in your router to the laptop.
Remember that when you do this you will have to put :81 at the end of your domain otherwise it will direct to the other server. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)
