You need to tell mysql to load when you reboot. Add the winmysqladmin.exe to your startup folder or install the mysql service from the tray icon. If you installed the one from my tutorials it should load automatically anyway. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

From Windows Explorer, just drag (using right mouse button) the .exe file to your startup folder in your start menu. Then select "create a shortcut". _________________ Stephen

If you can, go to control panel > administrative tools > services > fine the mysql service, right click and click properties, change the startup type to automatic, then click start. Reboot the pc and see if mysql loads. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

well i went and it was already set to automatic, but when i right clicked and went start it gave me an error:
Could not start the mySQL service on localmachine
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.
weird that its set to automatic and when i try manually it errors out. |

I had this same problem (the service couldn't be started). So I reinstalled it and it worked just fine. _________________ Stephen
