Ok, I don't use XP Pro, I'm running Windows2003 Server, but everything should be the same, you've osted this in the network forum so I assume you're running a network, have you configured your Router correctly?, are you connecting to the net via the machine that Abyss is installed on? _________________ Any information contained herein is provided in "as is" condition without any guarantee for its accuracy, contains no warrantees - express or implied - and confers no rights.

Go to www.securitymetrics.com and run the scan... Is port 80 blocked or stealth? Chances are your ISP is blocking port 80... The work around is something higher than 8000 or 8000 itself...
Also Firewalls can help block port 80. Check it.
I own Windows XP and it has its own firewall... Open my network places and and go to view network connections Click on your internet connection and view properties... go to the advanced tab and click on settings...
Is their a check mark on port 80? Put a check mark on it... Did you change your port number? Add that in that dialog box...
Good luck :) _________________ Victor B. Gonzalez
