Hey there,
I created a little tutorial with pictures on how to install PHP 5.1.4 and configure Abyss Web Server to use it. The tutorial is on my website at:

then go to "Tutorials", and then click on:
"How to install PHP and configure Abyss to use it"

You forgot to say about adding index files, so that Abyss Web Server actually picks up the php index files :O
