www.officialbass.com

as you see at my website, there is a webforward that im using (from zoneedit) and on every page it shows the same address. Its starting to bother me, because if i want to copy the url for my lessons page, i ahve to look for it by using 209.121.44.92:81 ect.

so, is there a way to set up real dsn (i think thats what its call) where if you go to the home page its www.officialbass.com/index.php or if you go to the lessons page its www.officialbass.com/lessons.php and it shows that in the address box?

thanks

oh, and can i do it with zone edit? because i realy dont want to have to wait for the transfur time, you know....

You will have to change your domain to an A record (for a static IP) or a CNAME (for dynamic IP and a dyndns or no-ip address) instead of a web redirect. You will most likely have to wait for the DNS changes to occur. You need to do this in your domain control panel and point it to your IP or dyndns/no-ip domain.

ok, so what your trying to say is in the ip thing at zone edit, to enter the ip to go to, ok, that sounds easy..... but the problem is that the ip for my website doesn't fit 209.121.44.92:81.... what do i do now?

You cant use ports in DNS's. You would have to put :81 at the end of your URL.

ok, i changed my settings at zone edit so

officialbass.com > 209.121.44.92
www.officialbass.com > 209.121.44.92

i didn't change my port forward, yet when i type in www.officialbass.com, it goes to 209.121.44.92:81 like i didn't even do anything to my settings

is this because it takes a while to change?

Yes. Some DNS settings take up to 72 hours to change. Mine are usually within 1 hour. Did you disable the web forwarding too?
