I have downloaded the abyss server. I am new at this so i know nothing. I need to know how to add websites (from my computer) to the server so that others will be able to view them. How do i add them in the Abyss Web Server directory>/htdocs file. Please help. If it alright, please explain it in steps.

| Yes you have answered my question but it wasnt the correct answer that i was looking for. I have saved my file in the dir you gave me but i still dont know how to make it as though other can see it instead of the defult webpage. Sry lol |

If your home page is index.htm then you need to find the page labelled inxex.html because abyss web servers default page is a .html ending, not a .htm (i think). This is the reason you are still getting the default page.

If you dont know how to delete files then I suggest you go on a computer course on how to use windows before you start things like this.
To delete the file, right click on it and click delete. Simple.It will be in c:\ program files\abyss web server\htdocs\

FTP servers are completly seperate from Abyss.
But to answer your question, fire up the FTP server and forward port 21 to your server from your router (if you have one) |

I helped this person early this morning and got his/her website online
and told him/her that in order to setup the FTP to point to the htdocs ,
you will have to read the help file for the net2ftp server. LateR! |

I think you made your point with the first lol, and that the following 10,000 weren't really necessary... also, would you mind talkin in plain english with punctuation, spelling, etc.
