Address doesn't work.
Are you sure that you havn't got it blocked with a firewall?
And you have the port forwarded on your router (if you have one)?
And are you on a static IP address? If not, maybe your IP address has changed ... _________________ ~ Dan

Your guide sucks. First of all, you really should learn valid XHTML. 2nd of all, you need to put "http://" before "www.freewebs.com", or else the browser will try accessing http://yourip/www.freewebs.com. |

Spot the big-headed know-it-all looking down on people ...
At least he's trying ... not everybody's perfect coders ...
But as cmxflash says, you need to put http:// in the address if it's to an external site.
Another few very simple ones you should include are <br> <b> and <i> _________________ ~ Dan

Great. Only another 4 years and you might have something like this...
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_intro.asp
If you only had an hour, it might have been better to follow the advice in your own tutorial and use Google... _________________

Must take a while to make " proper " sites like that ...
But as I find with alot of " proper " sites, is that it's too full of information.
All you need to know is what code you need, and where to put it.
Not some giant explication, with all possible options and variants, that takes hours to read ... _________________ ~ Dan

Did you actually look at the link?
It's a very nicely broken down, step by step HTML walkthrough. The linked page is a very short introduction with basically exactly the same content as the page on Justin's site. He could have linked his friend to it then spent the hour working through it with him over IM, and made a lot more progress... _________________

Yea, I did ... and the site was nice enough ...
I wasn't specifically targeting that site, more that type of site in general.
Good information, well explained ... but just overload for completely new people ... _________________ ~ Dan
