There is some configuration in abyss to download pdf files instead of opening them???

This is not a Web server issue. But you can force downloading a PDF by outputting some special HTTP headers:

Code:

Content-type: application/pdf
Content-disposition: attachment; filename="file.pdf"


You could output these using a script or even declare these two as custom HTTP headers for virtual path *.pdf (see http://www.aprelium.com/data/doc/2/abyssws-win-doc-html/hosts-configuration.html#HOSTS-GENERAL-ADVANCED-CUSTOMHEADERS .)
