Do what we all have to do at some point, trial and error. Ive used 4 versions and not had any luck with them. I tried Red Hat but it was too slow at booting even on a 1.7GHz system.

Well I just said Red Hat is slow and its also 8 CDs for the Maximum full red hat install. The minimum is 3 CD's. It runs so slow its like running windows XP on a pre-pentium 386 system. VERY slow.

For a beginner I would suggest mandrake: http://beta.mandriva.com/en/downloads
If you would like to try but not install, use knoppix (Live CD): ftp://ftp.mirror.ac.uk/sites/ftp.uni-kl.de/pub/linux/knoppix/KNOPPIX_V4.0.2CD-2005-09-23-EN.iso

Learn the use the EDIT button instead of spamming your way through the entire forum.

How about you just don't say anything at all?

Every single post you make sounds like it was written by a ten year old AOL user and adds nothing useful to the forum whatsoever.

That would be 'get out of my topics', only you can write and edit your posts, and you do a great job of making yourself look foolish enough without my help. They're also not 'your' topics. The sooner there's an Ignore mod installed, the better.

Anonymoose is right, use the edit button even if you intended to double post. All it does is make the forum look more and more unsightly.

I think you'll find that Anonymoose is a more valued member of the Abyss Community and his comments are more than welcome regarding such situations as this.

chappy426, I suggest you listen to some of the advice given. If you treat people in the community badly, you can only expect the same or worse in return.

Just thought you should think about that...

Hummmmmmm... looks like an off-topic case here. Chappy426, please try and stay on your topic or go post another. Spamming is also a huge part of this topic. Mostly from the owner of the topic.

Now, chappy426, please don't think I'm on their side since I'm friends with them (SOME), but please don't take it hard.

BTW, don't tell me this: (and I quote a certain somebody in here)
Quote:
We can be off-topic cause this is a OFF TOPIC DISCUSSION forum.
Now, this isn't all of what this certain "somebody" said.

See ya. =)

People like moosey are what cause topics such as this one to go way off topic.

Actually, Anonymoose (I didn't spell that right :D) is probably one of the most helpful people in this forum. Although he can be a pain in the arse sometime, he is still very capable and willing to give you the answers. His style of delivering them is very up-front.... (to say the least!)....

And you actually were the one who started dragging this even more OT than it already was...

Back On Topic, why do you even care who that is? I've got hundreds of IP's in my log, and really don't give a rats butt who it is! I'm perfectly content with knowing my site (or a site I'm hosting) are actually getting hits, and I'm not waisting all my electricity for nothing (right now prices are VERY high in California).
