Hi
I have installed Aprelium 2 on my pc and set up a site where radio hams can download instruction manuals, what I want to do though is restrict the amount of manuals that each person can download per day to may 2 or 3 manuals. I know it is possible to do this as www.mods.dk do exactly this but I dont know how, I assume they a logging how many times an ip address makes a download and stopping them when they reach a limit.
Does anyone know how I can do it with aprelium? _________________ ================

Hello Chris, I'm a fellow amateur (2E0EZW is my callsign). Welcome to the forums.
This is possible but requires a scripting language such as PHP to do it. If you know PHP you could try and use this but if not then search google for a script that does this. I would make one myself but unfortunately Im not that experienced in PHP just yet!
Maybe someone else on the forum could give you a code snippet to try out. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Yea it should be made in PHP. I would suggest looking for someone who can make the script or learning PHP and making it yourself :D _________________ mysql> SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;
