Thats unusual. Abyss isnt a virus. It could have been targeted by that virus and then it made AVG thing it was a virus. Try reinstalling Abyss and see if AVG still says its a virus. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Not running abyss. abwsx1.exe is only on disk in 4 folders.
Is that an installation program? Won't install it for sure, right now.
Wondering if this is a false reporting with new virus definitions from AVG?
Got the new definitions today running 7.0.0.318. |

OK, chances are the file has been infected with a previous virus and it hasnt been cleaned by your Anti-Virus software. I would quarantine the file or just delete it. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

There is no virus in abwsx1.exe.
Both AVG and Aprelium technical support tested abswx1.exe package and concluded that it was virus-free.
Apparently Spud2004's system has been infected by a virus, and the abwsx1.exe package it had on his hard drive has been contaminated. _________________ Support Team

I knew I would find an answer to this , you guy's won't believe this but a new
worm is trying to use Abyss as a target server , I found this on the Symantec
website and it really pissed me off when I found it. Enjoy reading :(
Edit: This was released in 2003 so it probably no longer exists and so if
your AVG is old , I do recommend uprading it , it could also be NullSoft.
