Well, I've tried Apache, and it's just too hard to use. So a friend told me about Abyss. I've read the articles on here about how to configure my Router to work, I think I've got it working right now, I'm just not sure, Here's my site:

OR

Please tell me if it works, If it doesn't, Please post some help, Thanks! _________________ --SomebodyRocks |

I think I may have fixed it. I went into my Modem/Router and actully started the custom service for port forwarding, I'm not sure if it's working now. But try it, Here's my info:
Abyss Is Running
Windows XP SP2 Professional
Westell Model 2200 is my Modem/Router
I'm not sure if it's working now, But I think it might be. I have a friend who's going to try to visit it and tell me if it works.
Thanks for your help. _________________ --SomebodyRocks |

Nope, its still not working... Make sure that you have port 80 open on your Router and that you have any Firewall software(in XP) turned off... _________________ -NoName

SomebodyRocks,
If you can browse your web site locally (on your computer), this means that Abyss Web Server works fine and that your problem is with your network configuration only.
You should configure the port forwarding in your router and disable any firewall that will block incoming access to the web port. Please read our FAQ in http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/faq.html for more information.
Other posts in the "Networking Issues" section of this forum can give you more tips. _________________ Support Team

Hi,
I have configured my router with Port Forwarding, and Port Targeting, and the Firewall is allowing traffic. I'm going to have a friend help me test it, But last night I had to Reset the Modem/Router, So I think I might have to configure it again. But other than this, Abyss Web Server seems to be great.
Thanks,

SomebodyRocks,
You can test it without requiring a friend by using a proxy service such as http://www.proxify.com . _________________ Support Team
