Abyss supports 64-bit machines by design, so the answer is yes. |

TNX for fast answer.
I mean 64bit of PHP 5.5b2 not OS.
I run all on 2008R2 64bit.

CONFIRMED!
I just tested PHP 5.5b2 and it works perfectly on my 64-bit machine. It actually seems faster than the 32-bit edition. When it becomes stable, Aprelium will probably create a pre-configured package for it, but until then, you will need to manually install it yourself. Read the tutorials that Aprelium provides for more information on that.
Respectfully,

Hello again,
I tested it in an 64bit W7 VM-Ware image - no chance get 5.5.0b3 or b4 64bit to run properly! I always get error 503 ?!
I changed the php.ini - no positive effect ... always error 503.

It works on my side. You must have configured something wrong. Perhaps an extension that failed to load? |

It's working.
Found the problems ... had no c++ 11.0 libs installed.
TNX a lot !
... think 64bit version of 5.5.0RC1 is a bit faster

The web server shouldn't matter as long as your system supports the x64 architecture.
i.e. you can run an older version of Abyss that was only x32, and still run x64 PHP, just like you can run x64 Abyss and x32 PHP. _________________ Audit the secure configuration of your server headers! |
