Hi everybody, just downloaded this software.
It just fit my need couse i run win xp home, so no way to install IIS.
Just one problem for now, I can't see the include file.
I set the settings, SSI enabled, it doesnt give me Error but doesnt visualize the content of the .inc file
i put it even in the same directory, no way
<!--#include virtual="Top.inc" -->
tried even
<!--#include file="Top.inc" -->
Thank you

oh great, I solved it!
I had to write in the advanced settings SSI associated extension
"inc, asp"
exctally in this way.
But it looks like my .inc file doesn't process the asp script, is it right?
I mean, with abyss webserver is it possible to run asp code in an include file?
I tried something like
<%
Response.write "MainSection"
%>
in my navigation.inc file but nothing appears
thank you |

You need to have AHTML (Active HTML from selisoft) installed as a CGI app under Abyss.
Check aprelium's site for isntall isntructions and the forums for for a free copy (the've since gone to a shareware model - but a free version still floats around). _________________ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Thank you!
I've downloaded the file, I'll try it later to see if it works.
It just seem strange that the Pages.asp work correctly, it is only when the asp code is in the include file that doesn't come out!
Anyway I'll try in my PC at home, thank you again, I'll let you know! |
