The server cannot start bacause of the following errors
1. Bad PID file path.
2. Cannot open/create the log file.
3. Cannot open/create the CGI error file.
I have no idea what to do. I'm running it on Linux Red Hat 8. |

uninstall and try again after a COLD BOOT (From power off not standby or hibernate) |

That did not help, but I got it to work by adding a folder called log in the main folder. Thanks for trying though. |

This problem happens when you install the server using a user account and then want to run it using another another user account. Since the second user has usually no right to write to the log/ directory created by the first, you see all these errors.
If you have not switched users, this error may be caused by a missing log/ directory in your Server Root directory. In this case, go to the you current Server Root directory, create a log/ subdirectory and restart Abyss Web Server. |
