Problems on the forum (Dec 08, 2004)

Hello,

A malicious person managed to exploit a vulnerability in PhpBB and to gain admin access to this forum today. Apparently, he/she has only changed the forum name and theme.

To reconquer the forum, we have closed it for a few hours and have upgraded PhpBB to the latest version. We have also checked the database and apparently there is no damage.

If you notice anything wrong when using the forum (bad page displaying, error messages, ...), please email webmaster@aprelium.com .

By the way, for all those who use PhpBB 2.0.10 or earlier, please upgrade to PhpBB 2.0.11. There is a huge security risk with old versions of PhpBB: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewopic.php?f=14&t=244451 .
