Do I need multiple installations of PHP & mySQL

As part of a college course, I have downloaded and subsequently installed a single install of a web server which gives me access to PHP and mySQL among other things. (Can be found at : [url = http://www.firepages.com.au/ ]http://www.firepages.com.au/ [/url]) What I see as a strong limitation is that it comes with the Apache Web Server instead of Abyss.

Can I use these functional installations of PHP and mySQL with Abyss and if so, how should i configure it?

Naturaly, since Abyss Web Server is very small, your are bound to lose some features.
