I don't understand what your saying. Just put the file in htdocs.... You don't have to login or anything.

I have put all files, index pages, clip art, and all referance doc's, ect, ect into the htdocs directory.

But when I login to the site it asked for the users name and password.

Here is the site address : http://meg-a-store.no-ip.info
and users id: customer
password: customer
All I want is to have any user, new or old, gain access to the store without having to use a id and password.
Again thanks for your help on this.. Tony C.

it seems to me that you password protected the main root so yeah
you will need a password , the only way to do this is to password the
files inside your htdocs and not the actuall / root it self , you should
use a pattern like /*.html , read more on patterns in the docs.

first of all you are probably behind a router, second of all...
DO NOT TYPE IN 127.0.0.1:1024 IN YOUR BROWSER! if that is your problem, you are probably trying to log in to your control panel.

either that, or you did something funky to your configuration...
