anyone know of a good program that will allow you to submit to search engines in a fast and furious fashion?
My friend says he has it built into his services from his webspace provider. He and I are both running PhpNuke sites so i am also wondering if there might be something like that available?

Adding a "robots.txt" to your website will not help you get submitted to any search engines any faster. Robots.txt tells web crawlers what directories not to include in their crawl, and other things you might want to advise a crawler to do.
If you are interested in Google, then you are going to have to get a lot of links to your site--as that's how Google calculates a majority of their rankings.
