Abyss was running fine earlier today.. I was editing the site testing and so on.. I was going to look at my modificatiions to my site so i typed in the static ip for my machine (192.168.0.2) but it didnt load. Then I had a friend try my external IP http://12.216.54.242 (its port 80).. it didnt work.. What is my ip keeps giving me the same results for my external ip.. so thats not changing.. I checked to make sure all ports were forwarded right and that all firewalls were off for now.. and i looked for anysoftware i didnt have earlier. all i found is mdm.exe .. which is a windows debugging software.. ??? how that affect it.. didnt know but i tryed deleting it and shutting it off.. I deleted all its files except for it because i cannot end the process. what do you think the problem is and if it is that how do i end the task manually.? _________________

It is a possibility that the DHCP assigned you a new internal IP. Go to Start>Run>Type "ipconfig" and make sure it is the same. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Because you may have a Dynamic IP that changes
every now and then , is it the same IP Address ? |

No, I'm referring to the internal IP. If your internal IP changes, then your external IP does not get correctly mapped to the server. ECKO_ASO, follow the directions above, and tell me what it says. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Had a feeling...
Go into your router setup and change the setting from 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.3. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Look for "Virtual Servers." Enter your current Abyss port for the port, and your internal IP when it asks you. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
