How do you make a link on a web page to a short cut.
If I remove the index file i can see a root file that shows
the short cut .lnk and it works but I can not see the IP address.
Any help on this....
Thanks to all... |

I don't quite understand your question , what
do you mean by "I Cannot See The IP Address" |

First I do not have much room to move files from the two large hard drives ( 120 gig each) onto the smaller drive (6.2 gig) and in too the C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs Directory. So I made up shortcuts to the directory or files that I want too share/post to the users.
Those .lnk's work but all I see in the address bar is
\\SERVER\Host Drive\ICONS so I'm tring to use those instead of and IP address.
Foot Note: on my computer thosr .ink's do work but not at another compter here in my office. I did make an index.hlm to test with and it will start to show the contents of the drive but then stop with a messge stating
f:\ is not accessible
This folder was moved or removed.
NOT SO....
Also I gave all rights to the user on the server.
So now I've got two problems not just one... |

If you want to add shortcuts to seperate drives
than just use the Aliases Feature , then you can
just put /aliases_name at the end of your url. |
